Stanley E. Geiswhite was born in Lewisburg, PA August 6, 1962. I spent all of my school years in Shikellamy School district from where I graduate in 1980. I also graduated from Sun Area Vocational Technical school that year specializing in Auto Body. In 1982 I graduated from the former Williamsport Area Community college with an Associates Degree in Applied science in Forest Technology.
I was married to Lori Hendricks on March 6, 1982. We have 3 children of our own. Christa Kersey, Michael, and Brandon. We are also raising 2 Foster children Gavyn age 8 and Summer age 6. We are members of Stonington Baptist Church since the late 80's.
I am currently employed by Wood Mode Inc. Kreamer, PA where I have been since May 29, 1992. Prior to that I served as Plant foreman at Kerrico Corp in Selinsgrove.
My entire life has been spent serving people, My family, the church, youth and high school sports, and anyone I come in contact with who needs a hand. I aspire to serve the people of Sunbury, beginning in 2012.

Why do I want to be Sunbury City Councilman?
The current state of US economy, coupled with the ever increasing dependence on goverment and huge fuel increases, has created huge budget issues nationwide. In many cases these budget deficits are simply solved by tax increases. People are losing their homes by the thousands because their income can no longer support the tax demands of every level of government. We need Public Servants who can develop creative means to downsize the demands on government funds as well as find alternate means of raising capital.
